Appraisal fee & Tax question

1, am I liable for an appraisal fee if the broker order it and the loan did not go thru?

2. can my Mortgage company pay deliquent taxes when I have no Escrow account?

1.) No, but he could possibly sue you if you do not reimburse him.

and

2.) Yes, b/c failure to pay the taxes will lead to a tax sale, this could also be considered a breech of your mortgage obligations and your mortgage company could begin a mortgage foreclosure action against you.
