Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Attorney obligation regarding title search

To the point.

Property puchased 22 years ago with title search and property line guaranteed by firm. Same firm (different attorney) now representing neighbor in claim that line is incorrect. What action would you suggest in this situation? What would you do?

Re: Attorney obligation regarding title search

I have a few questions, which you could email me answers on to get a more complete answer. First, did you get a title insurance policy with a survey endorsement? Second, did the attorney represent you or did he act as a title closing agent? These issues are important. I would say that you may have a coverred title insurance claim, and if he represented you, then he is bound by the code of ethics to withdrawal from the case. I would need more facts to give you a complete answer. My email is [email protected]
