Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
baseball fields and residential communities
The back of our house faces a township youth baseball park. We have always had several balls in our yard and balls which have hit our house, but know we have had two windows broken. Because the windows were broken during regulation play, the field insurance paid for our windows. We are tired of the balls hitting the house and breaking our windows, not to mention having my daughter play only in the front yard. The field association said they would put up a second net, but have not done so. My question: how close can a baseball field be to a residential house?

Re: baseball fields and residential communities
You need to retain counsel to work out a settlement agreement or you need to petition the courts to force an injunction on the baseball field...which in reality would be quite difficult. However, having an attorney represent you in any settlement agreement you would be protecting your interests.
