I built a house on someone else's property. Do I need a deed for it and if so how do I get one??

Why did you do that?
Normally in the property description includes the line and all structures built. That covers not only structures that existed at the time the deed was drafted but also structures that may be buit,
Looks like you built someone else a house.

But if you know the legal owner and s/he is agreeable, you should have a survey prepared showing the boundary of the land that will be part of your home and the surveyor should also prepare a legal description for that land. Be sure that the land provides access to a public road. The legal owner should sign a deed that you should have prepared by a knowledgeable real estate lawyer in your area and your lawyer should have it recorded and returned to you. If the owner will do this, you should pay your surveyor and your lawyer and all fees involved in recording the deed, because it would be wrong to put those fees on a person who is basically giving you property.
