common law marrage and if realistate can be claimed under this

What is common law marrage and what does it include also can I loose mine and my childs home over this my home was built by my fathers inharitance and my husband past away and then the house became soully mine now I'm living with my boyfriend and he makes comments from time to time about the house. Please help with my question and anything I can do to save my home. Thank you

It does not sound as if you have anything to worry about. Common law marriage is extremely difficult to prove. Plus inheritance is not marital property, only the increase in value is marital. You probably do not need to worry about him getting any part of the house.
