Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
co-ownership and child support
My mother-in-law lives in the state of Pennsylvania. She co-owns a home with a person who owes a substantial amount of back child support (this man was the husband of her deceased daughter). What happens to money made on the sale of this house? Does she receive half of what is made on the sale or must her money also be put toward this back child support?

Re: co-ownership and child support
This is a little confusing. She owns it with her son-in-law? Her son in law owed support to her daughter's child? Her daughter died and the child is now with who? Please reply.
