how much does it cost to rewrite a deed to add a person to it?

Not all that much. I don't know what the going rate is in PA if the land is located there. You are doing a quitclaim or non-warranty deed from you, as grantor, to you and whomever you want to add, as grantees, with or without rights of survivorship.
Depending on what you need, it should not cost much more than $100.
