my parents live in pa and have neighbors behind them that let their kids sleigh ride down the lawn onto my parents property. They have destroyed trees, and also the lawn. twice they have found their trees torn up and stuffed into a drainage pipe. my parents were told by other neighbors that they had a flyer in all their mailboxes inviting all the kids in the neighborhood to sleighride down their yard, stating "if the laws of gravity take you onto our neighbors property then "oh well". it's been a constant struggle for my parents who are in their late 60's. also all the damage happens when they are away or not home. please help.

Re: damage to property due to trespassing
In my opinion you have a legal remedy to prevent the action of your parent's neighbors. However, building fences do not build good neighbors as the expression goes. It is a much better solution to meet with the neighbors and appeal to their sense of reason in terms how your parents feel. These neighbors sound like good people. Speak with them before taking any legal action. Consult a lawyer only as a last resort.
