Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

deed restrictions

I recently received a letter from a ''committee'' in my development informing me that I am in violation of the deed restrictions in my development. Apparenlty the small camper/travel trailer I have parked in my driveway (on the side of my garage) is no allowed. There is no contact information included in the letter. It is simply signed ''The Beautification Committee''. What do I do? According to the deed restrictions I am not the only home ownder ''breaking'' a rule. None of our neighbors know anything about the committee or letter and even though they too are ''breaking'' the restrictions, they have not received a letter.

Re: deed restrictions

Sounds like a committee of one. If it was a serious complaint they might have included some way to contact the "committee". They didn't. So save the letter (it might be evidence someday).

Other than that I would do nothing. If they write again start asking your neighbors as to who is sending it.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
