My X husband and I have agreed that I will buy him out on our house. I would like to have his name removed from the deed. Is there a program I can purchase to do this online?Thank you

There is no program. It is not a costly procedure. What is needed is a copy of the old deed with the exiting recording information. I can prepare the deed for a cost of $75. You will have the responsibility of recording the deed. If you do not want my services, I suggest you consult with another attorney. You would be making a serious mistake if you are untrained in the legal process to prepare the deed yourself. If you are divorced there may be a transfer tax that will have to be paid on the one half interest (two percent of the one half interest or greater in you are in Philadelphia) Gerald Hershenson Esq. 215=579-9390
