Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Disclosure

We purchased a home about 6 month's ago, within the first 2 weeks after we moved in there were several floods in the basement. We first tried calling the real estate people with no help there , we then sent a letter to the old homeowner. In the letter we let her know that nowhere in the disclosure did it say anything about water in the basement. We did not wait to have it repaired(it was just to messy to leave it),what we have now is old rotted pieces of wood, outlets, pictures, and video of some of the damage.Do you think we can sue? Thank You

Re: Disclosure

It appears you do have some grounds for a cause of action. I would need to review your sales agreement and determine if the seller had some knowledge of past flooding amongst other issues.

if you are in the western part of the state you can contact my office to discuss this matter. All initial consultations are at no cost.
