I do not know Pa. law, but the worst case scenario, you would lose the property and they could sue you for any balance and get a judgment against you. Either donate the property to a charity if they will take it or call the association and see if they will take a deed to release your obligation. Good luck.

Property taxes and dues are liens against the property. Failure to pay can result in a foreclosure suit against both the property and you. If the property sale does not bring what is owed on it, you will be responsible personally for any balance due. Your choices are to donate the property, if you find a charity interested and willing to continue to pay these obligations, or to offer the Condo Association a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure - transfers the property to the lien holder and relieves you of further responsibility. I suggest contacting a local real estate attorney to assist you in this.
