Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Disriminating against tenant

I currently live in a mobile home park and rent the land that my mobile home is on. I feel that I am being discriminated against because I am a musician on my free time. In the rules and regulations it states that ''noise shall be held to a minimum after 10:00PM'', and I respect the rule and don't practice after 9:00. There has been a few complaints and now I am receiving an eviction notice because of the noise. I was wondering if their is anything that I can do?

Re: Disriminating against tenant

If you have been observing the rules against noise, you should not be subject to eviction for making noise.

Anti-discrimination laws apply only to certain groups of people, for example, based on race, ethnicity, and similar attributes. Being a musician is not within the "protected classes" against whom discrimination is illegal.

You should consult with a real estate/landlord-tenant lawyer in your county to review your lease, the eviction notice, and assist you in defending your rights.
