fencing and property line

My neighbor is putting up a fence and I'd like to know how far from my property line he has to put the fence. Can it be right on the line or is there a required setback?

you dont state where you live so this is impossible to answer. contact your municipality and ask for the code enforcement officer. he will answer your question.
