Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

filing a police report

our neighbors damaged hedges in our front yard about 2 months ago, and agreed to fix them. we agreed to have them replant a new one, and that never happened, now it's going on 3 months and they are giving us the run around. how long do we have to file a police report for such an instance?

Re: filing a police report

The police report should have been filed when it happened. However, is your goal criminal sanctions or get your hedges repaired?

Assuming it was the latter you can file a civil complaint with the District Magistrate Judge (DJ) to have them pay for the damages. IN your case you have up to two years to file but I wouldn't wait.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
