Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
My friend purchased a home two years ago. Only his name is on the mortgage His live-in girlfriend's name is on the deed. He has told her that he no longer want to be with her. She will not leave because she says it's her house, too. She does not pay anything for the house. Is he able to get her name off of the deed so that he can force her to leave?

According to the law it's her house too. He gave here an interest by putting her name on the deed. If he can he'll have to buy her out. If she refuses than he'll have to file an action to partion the property or quiet the title.
