Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

My Girlfriend is in the middle of a seperation and her husband came and took her car. Both names are on the car but there was some of my belongings in there about 800 to 900 dollars worth. She as asked him to return my stuff but he will not. Can i press any charges?

For what? Its half his car. He did not know your things were in it. I would contact him directly, by certified mail and explain that certain things were in the car and that you want them returned as he has no lawful right to those possessions. Advise him that if he does not arrange to return the items in 10 days that you will take legal action. If he fails to respond, follow up by bringing a suit in magistrate's court seeking replevin of the items or their value (I am assuming that the total value of the goods was less than $8,000.00). If it is over $8,000.00, then get a lawyer. It will not cost all that much.
