Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Hello,

I am transfering colleges and signed the agreement to modify and extend my lease for another year, but with the apartment complex i live at, you also need a new parent guaranty form to complete your lease for another year, I was wondering if I am liable or can I cancel my lease. Whwn i signed the new paper I was not given a copy and I only had to sign a new last page that says what it costs to live there. thank you

Why not go explain your problem to the complex office and see if they'll cancel your extension. If they aren't willing then you might need legal advice but try just asking, you might get what you want. If you don't maybe there's some amount of money that will get them to agree to let you out of the lease. The sooner you start talking the better deal you'll get.
