Home Owner's Association - Member Rights

Do members of A Home Owner's Association (PUD) have any rights and/or priviliges? The converse is: ''Can the Board Of Directors of a Home Owner's Asspociation do anything they want, enact any rules/guidelines they want and the members have no recourse?

Take a look at your Home Owners' Association documents - declaration, by-laws, any other documents that you should have received before you purchased the property. All members/owners and the Board of Directors are governed by those documents in addition to the law.

No Board of Directors of any entity may "do anything they want", etc.

You probably want to consult with a real estate lawyer who could advise you.

But you may find the answer yourself in those documents.
