Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
My husband and I are looking to obtain a reverse mortgage on our house. The problem is that he is 62 years of age and I won't be 62 until May. We are curious if he could buy me out temporarily and then after we set up the reverse mortgage if I could buy back in. Not sure if this sounds feasible or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We need to do this ASAP due to a terrible mortgage company (Bank of America).

You shouldn't rush into any transaction without understanding all of the effects it would have.
You mention Bank of America - if your current mortgage is already in foreclosure, you would probably have difficulty getting another mortgage of any kind. There is no way to get a mortgage application and approval completed and funded "ASAP."
You should try to get government-approved counseling to help you apply for the various programs to help homeowners in difficulty with their mortgage. Look them up at

The penalties for fraud include imprisonment and fines. Also, changing title affects your and your husband's eligibility for government benefits that you may need in the near future.
