Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
Landlord allegedly harassses tenent when informing tenant of eviction
I have been contacted by police that tenant pressed harassement and other charges against me because I threatened to evict him for nonpayment of 4 months back rent. The charges are totally false but he has a "witness" who is his wife's son.
I am a well respected professional in the area and am considering using character witnesses as support in a court hearing to prove that I would never conduct myself in a criminal manner.
Thus, can anyone provide input on this situation which would further benefit me?

Tenant's harrassment claim agains Landlord re: eviction notice
You do not mention whether you have begun eviction proceedings against the tenant. Landlords must strictly follow PA law dealing with required notices to tenants before eviction proceedings. Oral warnings do NOT satisfy the requirements.
I cannot advise you about defending a criminal claim against you by the tenant, because I am not familiar with criminal law matters. You probably should consult with an experienced criminal defense lawyer to help you in that matter.
