Landlord

Our Landlord just passed away. He has 8 kids. What should we expect at this point ? Do they have to give us notice ? Thanks Denise

Re: Landlord

First, what does you lease say? More than likely it probably doesn't say.

So, the lease survives. Once, the lease is up its hard to say what will happen. I doubt the landlord's kids know either.

Your best strategy is to offer your condolences to the family. Once they get their act together try talking to them. If they plan to keep renting the place and you're a good tenant they'll probably want to keep you. So open the lines of communication its the cheapest and most effective thing to do if you want to stay.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
