Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

What is the law in Pennsylvania concerning the Right of Recision? I signed a generic contract to rent someone's home, signed a contract, and then less than 24 hours later I cancelled it. Do I have that right if it's within 72 hours and can I can all of my deposit back?

There is no right of rescission on contracts like a lease or agreement of sale for real property. The time to think about it and get legal counsel is before signing.

You can certainly try to cancel and get your money back. In a down market with few tenants seeking to rent, the landlord will probably be disinclined to allow you to back out.
