Length of inspection period in PA

If you are referring to an inspection period under a contract or agreement to buy real estate, there is no standard time. In fact, there is no automatic right to have a home inspection.

All rights depend on what is provided in the contract. If the buyer opts for a home inspection, that provision should also spell out the time period and what rights each party has based on the inspection report.

Read your contract very carefully to see what rights you have and how they are limited.
