Lien on a house by Targer
My boyfriend and I are trying to buy a house. The house has a lien on it from Target. They are telling us that we can't buy the house unless the lien is paid. Who should have to pay that? How does that work?

Re: Lien on a house by Target
The seller pays. What he is supposed to be selling you is the house and land free and clear of all liens.
A house is probably the most expensive thing you'll ever buy. You will be going in to debt for 30 years. So where is your attorney? He or she is the one who will be looking out for your interests.
