Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Lift a right of Easement

My neighbor and I have a shared Driveway. Hafl of the driveway is my property and half belongs to her. The problem is another property has easement rights to use our driveway to access that property from the rear. The owner does not live here, instead he rents. My neighbor and myself are now starting to suffer property damage as well as people wandering through are backyards and found lounging on our decks. I cannot even fence my propery because of the easement.

This property has access from the front. The tenants use our driveway to gain access to park in the backyard of this property. Is there anyway to have this easement lifted?

Thank you

Re: Lift a right of Easement

You may have a variety of options depending on the exact layout of the properties, the deeds, and the history of use of your driveway by the easement holder. You will need a lawyer. You can make the job easier by going to the courthouse and getting copies of the 3 deeds and a tax map. Try to get a lawyer in your area you can afford.
