Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Marine Salvaging Laws

My question relates not just to PA but anywhere. Where

can I find info on laws related to salvaging rights? In

particular, laws that would apply to a treasure hunting/

diving enterprise? For example, if a company finds a

ship wreck off the coast of the U.S., what laws would

enable or restrict them from keeping the goods? I have

had no luck with Internet searches. I need this info for an upcoming book. Thank you.
