Oil & Gas Lease
My elderly father signed a lease agreement to explore for oil and gas on his property for an inappropriate amount of consideration.
Can he cancel the agreement? He sent it in the mail this week.

He needs to talk to an attorney to see if they can void the agreement. Please note, the mere fact that the amount given is little is not remotely a basis to try to void a contract. If he did not have the capacity to enter the contract, that may make the contract voidable.
He must talk with an attorney now.
