Owner's Title Insurance

Is Owner's Title Insurance worth buying when I'm purchasing a newly built home from a reputable builder (Toll Brothers)? It seems excessive.

Title insurance is just that. You insure the title to the real estate. If someone fifty years ago transferred the wrong title, or written description you could end up in a lawsuit defending your title (ownership) to the real estate. The seller may not even know the mistake. Yes, title insurance is worth it.
