It's not clear who is trying to evict you. Nor who the "them" are who are calling you.

If you already have a written lease, your landlord may not make additional demands or add terms to your lease. If you violate the lease, you may be evicted and the landlord may also seek a judgment against you for the rent for the entire term of the lease.

Do you have your own credit? is it good? If not, that may be why the landlord is asking for a co-signor.
