Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
Peaceful Enjoyment of Property
Two and a half years ago I purchased two commercially zoned vacant lots. The lots are situate along a major arterial highway. I purchased the lots to build a new office.
Before purchasing the lots I personally contacted the Zoning Officer of the Township.
After purchase the Zoning Officer remained committed to my usage to the point that he issued
permits .
About two months after my purchase the Zoning Officer retired. A consulting Engineering Company was appointed as the new Zoning Officer. When I submitted development plans for my new office to the new Zoning Officer I was told that I could only move my sales office but not my construction phase.
The Township Supervisors have harassed me every way that they could since this started back in 1996.
The Supervisors have implanted officials friendly to their wants; they have ordered the new Zoning Officer not to grant me any permits; they have ordered the Code Enforcement Officer to take me before a District Justice for trumped up charges which were dismissed. Now they are threatening to take me to court for not cutting weeds in a highway drainage ditch.

Re: Peaceful Enjoyment of Property
I suggest you consult an attorney immediately. Your question is not clear. You may have a cause of action against the supervisors. Get an attorney who is an expert in municipal law is the best advise I can give you. There is some missing information that is needed in order to properly advise you.
