Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
I am a POA for my mother. With mother’s consent we put her house for sale several months ago and I signed the agreement as a POA in behalf of my mother who no longer lives in the house but resides in a assistant living facility. Surprisingly, last week an attorney forwarded a letter and POA to me were my mother appointed my sister as the new POA and revoked mine. The attorneys letters states for me to turn over all of my mother’s assets including property to my sister. There is a scheduled settlement date several weeks from now and up until I received the new POA I have been working in preparing for the close by repairing, packing, cleaning etc.
INQUIRY – Considering the settlements date is several week away who is responsible and obligated in completed all outstanding repair work and preparing the home in a broom swept condition?

You previously posted this question. I don’t know if you got an answer that time. You really need to consult a local real estate and estates lawyer to assist you with this. You should not be seeking answers on a site like this one to help you with a complicated situation such as the one you have.
THIS RESPONSE IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE, SINCE I DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THE INFORMATION THAT WOULD BE REQUIRED, AND I DO NOT HAVE A REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT WITH YOU.
* If the answers to your question confirm that you have a valid issue or worthwhile claim, your next step should almost always be to establish a dialog with a lawyer who can provide specific advice to you. Contact a lawyer in your county or township.
* Another reason for contacting a lawyer is that it is often impossible to give a good answer in the Internet Q&A format without having more information. The unique circumstances of your situation and things that you may not have thought to mention in your question may completely change the answer. If you want to be sure that you have a complete answer to your question and an understanding of what that answer means, establish a connection with a lawyer who practices in the area of your concern.
