Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

problems with timbering company

I hired a company to selective timber my property. The contract stated they had coverage for faithful performance and for damage to the property. They heavily damaged the property with the equipment and water diverted from a stream and the insurance company said they were NOT insured. What are my options in this case?

Re: problems with timbering company

You asked about damage to your property where the party had contractually guaranteed they were insured.

If you wish to collect you need to hire an attorney. You can try to handle this on your own but your likelihood of collecting is greatly reduced. In short, you need to make a demand on the company to make good, then will likely have to sue to recover any damages.
