Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Can I purchase a home using my maiden name? I would prefer to keep the transfer out of the local paper but think my long forgotten maiden name would be less noteworthy to the local gossips. I am recently divorced which was local, public and ugly.

No, unless you resume the use of your maiden name. I suppose you could set up a trust or corporation to own it.
