Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Purchasing A Home

My husband and I are scheduled to sign a contract to start construction on a new home in an existing development. In the contract, there is a clause that essentially states that if the owner of the community fails to pay the contractor for any work done during the standard construction of our house that we would be liable for the contractor's unpaid bills. Is this standard?

Re: Purchasing A Home

From your question, I am not sure what the contract is trying to say. I would need to read the actual clause to be able to giveyou a responsible answer. You may email or fax the clause to me fax# 610 565-1596.
