on the quitclaim form
i want to settle with my ex,so he will give me the deed i am forgiving 16,000 in back child support.do i need to put this amont on the quitclaim or just put 0.00 since no money will really be exchanged.

I think you may be treading into dangerous waters. While the back child support goes to you it is for your child's support. I would be sure to establish that the transaction is in your child's interest and goes towards that obligation. It is valuable consideration that he is receiving (forgiveness of the debt) in exchange for signing the deed. I offer free consultations. My contact information is in my profile.
