real estate agreement contract
I signed an agreement with a realtor for another party to purchase my house. After signing, I decided i cannot move with the money i have left over. My late husband and i built this house 26 years ago, and i am finding it too emotional to sell. Our contract is good until nov.1,2007..if i ''ride'' it out until then, can i get out of being forced out of my property? Thank you

If you and the buyer have both signed an agreement of sale, you are bound by it and are required to go through with the sale. The agreement of sale may provide what happens if the Seller backs out, and that may involve who will be entitled to the buyer's deposit money.
If you only signed a listing agreement with a Realtor and it runs until November 1, 2007, depending on what the listing agreement says, you probably may cancel it with the Realtor.
In either case, you should consult with a real estate lawyer in your county, just to interpret the agreement and what your rights are.
A Realtor is a professional who finds buyers and matches them with sellers and provides some assistance to them to prepare for settlement. However, Realtors may not/ are not permitted to give you legal advice, which would be involved in interpreting your agreement.
