Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
Real Estate Attorney
I am buying a small house in Philadelphia. I understand that in Philadelphia, there is no requirement for me to have an attorney at closing. Can you tell me how much it would likely cost for me to have one? It seems that it would be beneficial.

Re: Real Estate Attorney
I've been an attorney practicing in Philadelphia since 1991, and I can tell you that I've helped many people buy real estate. I review the agreement of sale, help evaluate mortgages and the estimated settlement charges, make sure the inspections and certifications are performed, and handle the closing. My fees generally range from $350 to $750, depending on the stage you find yourself and the complexity of the transaction.
Feel free to write back or give my office a call if you have any more questions.

Re: Real Estate Attorney
The price of the settlement depends on the amount of work involved. Represetation at just the closing would be less then reviewing or helping you negotiate an agreement of Sale. Also if issues arise prior to settlement this may increase costs. If you would like to contact me at my office to discuss your situation I can give you a clearer indication of the potential cost.
