Does a real estate lease in Pennsylvania need to be notarized to be legal?

LEASES NEED NOT BE NOTARIZED, UNLESS THEY ARE GOING TO BE RECORDED, TO BECOME PUBLIC DOCUMENTS. LEASES ARE RARELY RECORDED, EVEN IF THEY ARE FOR MAJOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES, AS THEY BECOME CLOUDS ON THE PROPERTY TITLE AND CAN CAUSE COMPLICATIONS. MOST LEASES HAVE PROVISIONS THAT THEY ARE NOT TO BE RECORDED, SO THEY NEED NOT BE NOTARIZED.
