Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
I have a real estate partnership with another person. He owns 2/3 and I own 1/3. We have agreed to sell the property. His name is on the mortgage and the deeds as I 'bought' into the property. Can I list the property with a Realtor or does he have to do this because his name is on the deeds and mortgage.?

Only the legal owner can list and sell a property.
I hope that you have a written agreement about the partnership, and that something was recorded indicating that you have an interest in the property. Without an interest that is known to others by way of a recorded document, you might be left out in the cold.
