Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
We received a Rule Returnable with a date for October 18, 2010, How do we do this Rule Returnable?
1 Answer from Attorneys
A "Rule Returnable" date is the deadline by which you must file a response . . . which, for you, was yesterday.
It may not be too late, however, since many counties have an additional procedure that must be followed obtain judicial action. That procedure requires the movant to file a request to make the Rule "Absolute." If this is the procedure for your jurisdiction and no such filing has been entered, you may still have a chance to file your original response.
Best of luck to you.
