Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
Recently we had a survey done because we want to install a fence. The local ordinance is that we must be 18 inches off of the property line which isn't a problem. However we found out that one of our neighbor's house sits about 18" over the property line. Therefore, my question is am I still legal by placing the fence right next to the house or do I have to leave room?

I think you need to notify the neighbor about the results of the survey and get the location of his house on your property dealt with quickly so that he doesn't gain that 18 inches by adverse possession.
