can a rel estate agent in PA ask for a copy of my bank account before the will present the offer to the seller?

Sure they can. They could also ask you for next Saturday night's Powerball numbers. Doesn't mean you have to provide her with it. I can see no reason why the agent needs that information. I assume you will be having some one else lend you the money to buy the place. Did the agent say why they needed it?
