use of school district baseball fields by taxpayers

as taxpayers in a local school district what are our rights to the use of the baseball and football fields that are owned by the school district. are there legal issues that prohibit taxpayers from using these fields when not being used by any school teams or functions.can the district restrict the use of these fields on a seasonal basis. as taxpayers are we entitled to the use of these fields when not being used by any school functions. the fields are maintained solely with taxpayer dollars.

Off season use might subject the school district to liability for any defect or ijury occuring. If the district restrict use of the facility to one group but allows others yo might have a claim. But the district does have the right to protect itself. Go to the school board hearing and ask why can't we use off season.
