refund of security deposit under lease

In PA, if you gave the landlord more than one month's rent as a security deposit, you may be entitled to a refund of all but one month's rent after 2 years. You are also entitled to a refund of all security deposit plus interest - although the landlord is permitted to keep up to 1% as an administrative expense - after you move out if the landlord determines that the property has not been damaged and does not have to make any repairs. If repairs are needed, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the security deposit and if there is any deposit left, it should be returned to you.
