selling 1/2 of the house & property

I am half owner of a house & property in Pennsylvania and would like to know if I can sell my half share to someone? The house does not have a mortgage. It is totally paid for.

How the property is titled would be relevant if you hold the property as tenants in common you should have no problem selling your half share if the property is held as joint tenants there may be an issue. Also is there an agreement between the two owners in writing if so this may govern the transaction.
