Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
shared drive
There is a drive way between my house and the house next door. Our deed states that it is a ''shared drive'' between the owners of both properties. The owner of the house next door rents the home out.
We are having problems with the renter and her use of the drive. Does she, as a non-owner, have the same rights to the drive. I never signed any agreement that would allow anyone except the owner to have use of this property.

Re: shared drive
The entire chain of title needs to reviewed by an attorney to validate the right to use the driveway. If there is a deed allowing the use the tenant certainly has the same rights of the owner. I suggest you have the matter reviewed and possibly deal with the owner of the property next door to see if he can assist in resolving the difficulty with the tenant. If I can be of any assitance please call or write me.
