Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
Shared Property in Marriage
My husband to be has only his name on the deed of a home we are purchasing. When we marry, will I, as the spouse, automatically own 50% of the home?

Re: Shared Property in Marriage
You and your husband should discuss sharing ownership of the house that both of you are purchasing. In order to have any interest in the home, your name will also have to be on the deed.
You may want to consult a lawyer yourself for advice and information about rights and ownership of assets by married people.

No. It would be considered premarital property.
