Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

sharing property

me and my wife were looking into purchasing a duplex with a freind and we were wondering if it is possible to split the title of house so we both have ownership in the property. i was also wondering if it is possible to split the mortgage also? we are just worried that if he wanted to sell then we would have to move or vice versa.

Re: sharing property

There are a number of ways to structure the trnsaction so that if your friend wanted to sell or if you wanted to sell, the other party would have an opportunity to purchase before a stranger came involved. A good attorney hired to represent all the parties can help resolve issues that may arise adn make sure at the end of the process the friendship still remains. I offer free consultations.
