Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

sherif sale

My husband's house was recently sold at the sheriif's sale. We didn't receive any official notice. The only notice that we received was a piece of paper from the new owner saying that if we didn't contact him within twenty four hours that the house would be re-keyed. What legal rights do we have?
